What does QWP have to offer the Walnut Industry?
- Growers whether smaller & independent or larger corporate are invited to process walnuts in our modern purpose built processing plant at Koraleigh near Swan Hill. The plant is currently being commissioned and following trials this year will be fully operational prior to the 2008 harvest. The QWP plant is well located with capacity to provide processing of walnuts across South Eastern Australia for many years to come.
- The QWP plant uses the latest technology and professionally constructed equipment from Australia and USA to ensure quality control is not compromised. The plant comprises of large capacity grading and hulling system, a modern automated drying system, cleaning and trash removal systems.
- Growers using our plant will have the option of marketing their quality walnuts through QWP to take advantage of premium prices for high quality product and the benefits combined large volumes of walnut products coming from the plant. The QWP marketing strategy is as you would expect focused on increasing the supply of fresh Australian Walnuts into domestic and international marketplaces.
